The Knights of Columbus at St. Benedict will conduct our annual “Tootsie Roll Drive” for intellectual disabilities after Masses on Sept 15th and 16th. Your donations fund the operating budget for the local chapter of SPREAD – a charity which ministers to Catholics with intellectual disabilities.
Last year, we raised $1,500 and we thank you for your continued generosity.

Since my dad was up front playing music, my mom was left to keep us kids in line. At this point, all she had to worry about from us teenagers was the odd sarcastic remark, so her focus was almost entirely on keeping my little sister out of trouble.
