Capital Campaign Update
Capital Projects Update:
• The tuck pointing on the Leavitt Street school building is finished. Just in time for the start of school. The new windows are going to be installed later this fall. The installation delay is caused by some production delays after the parish made sure it was getting the best possible window option. Thank you for your contributions to Forward in Our Faith that covered this massive project.
• A few weeks ago, our local area experienced an extremely heavy rain. We had some flooding throughout the campus. We are working Gallagher Bassett on an insurance claim for flooding that took place in the secondary school library, the early childhood gross motor room, and the basement of the Kateri Center. New carpeting has been laid in the library and tile abatement will take place in the gross motor room in the next week.
• The much-crumbling west church stairwell is being rebuilt, matching the rebuild that took place on the east side of the church.
• Watch for more updates on these projects as well as new projects starting this fall.
