Located in the city's Northcenter neighborhood, St. Benedict Parish and Preparatory School is a longstanding anchor of the Northcenter community. The church bell tower is a landmark in the community and visible for miles, day and night! Together, the church, school and St. Kateri Center buildings occupy a full city block and are known collectively as The Block.

St. Benedict Church is located at 2201 W. Irving Park Road, at the corner of Irving Park Road and Leavitt Street. There is a handicap-accessible entrance on Leavitt just south of Irving Park, and there is a handicap restroom on the lower level of church accessible by elevator.

The parish business office and rectory is located at 2215 W. Irving Park Road, directly west of the church. The rectory building is not handicap-accessible and there are stairs to enter. Ackerman Center and Beaven Hall are two gathering spaces located on the upper and lower levels, respectively, of the building situated at the corner of Irving Park and Bell Avenue. Ackerman/Beaven is not handicap-accessible and there are stairs to enter.

The main entrance to St. Benedict Preparatory School is at 3900 N. Leavitt St., at the corner of Leavitt and Byron Street. The school gym entrance is at 3941 N. Bell Avenue.
