Even though helping others grow in faith is my work, growing in knowledge and understanding of our faith is also a personal goal. This goal has enriched me in my own life by bringing peace, comfort and understanding.

With that in mind, as a parent, I often desire ways to influence my family’s faith and faith practice. For me, sharing my faith with my family is an act of love. I want them to experience the same peace and comfort that my faith has given to me.

A Fond Farewell, A Heartfelt Thank You

I write today to share with you some news. Effective February 1st, 2022, I will be leaving St. Ben’s. I will take on a new role as Director of Music Ministry at St. Clement Parish in Lincoln Park. January 23rd will be my last Sunday. I will take the final week of January to spend some time in spiritual retreat as I prepare for my new role. Join us for our ninth annual Christmas concert! This year the parish choirs will present a program of carols from the cathedrals of France and beyond. Performers include the parish adult choir, children's choirs, and the Ravenswood Community Orchestra. All proceeds benefit the parish music program.
