One of the greatest gifts of the Spiritual Exercises is learning the techniques of the Discernment of Spirits that we can use when we make our decisions in life. Ignatius teaches us about “the motions of the soul.” Ignatius helps us to use spiritual discernment to determine where our interior movements come from and where they lead us.

What am I doing for Christ? What ought I to do for Christ?”
