Youth Ministry's Summer Service Week at Mission of Our Lady of Angels

During the month of July a group of St Benedict Parish high school students spent a week serving at the Mission of Our Lady of Angels. On Tuesday morning we left St Ben’s at 7:30 am so we could help with the outdoor food pantry that had been taking place at the Mission all through the COVID pandemic.

We also helped moved mattresses, dressers and other items needed to complete the renovation of the third floor of the Mission. At the end of this summer the hope is to have a completed space for adult retreats. It was a wonderful week of blessing and a great reminder of how important each individual act by each individual contributes to the whole.
