Lectors are invited to a workshop on proclamation, working specifically on an embodied interpretation of scripture, with Saint Andrew's Pastoral Ministry Assistant, Megan Storti. Prepare for a unique approach to lectoring, with a healthy balance of practical vocal technique and scriptural study. Wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in, and keep an open mind during this two hour session!
All current and prospective lectors are invited to take part in this event.
Megan Storti is the Pastoral Ministry Assistant at Saint Andrew Parish. She has over 8 years of professional acting experience, having worked locally and regionally with The Old Globe Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Writers' Theatre, the Shakespeare Festival of Saint Louis, the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Eclispe Theatre and Lifeline Theatre, among others.
