From the Bench: Pentecost

All of the music today is centered around the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The text of our opening hymn reminds us that though Jesus, the Son, has Ascended into heaven, his spirit is still very much among us, and therefore he, as a member of the Trinity, is still with us.

From the Bench: The Ascension

Our opening hymn, "A Hymn of Glory Let Us SIng", expresses our joy as Jesus ascends to his heavenly throne. Our recessional, "Go to the World" reflects Jesus’ command to “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature" which we hear in today's Gospel.
