Building the New Reality-Welcome

At St Benedict Parish we are inviting our parish community to share ways in which we could commit to creating a more welcoming space. There are three areas that we will focus on in regard to creating a feeling of welcome. The first area is; Welcoming to Each Other, ( How can we create a space where people know each other by name and know about each other?) Welcoming to people who are visiting our parish, ( How can we create an environment that invites people to know they belong?) and finally, Welcoming People to the Faith, ( How can we intentionally create a community that reaches out to people outside of our doors and invites them to a relationship with Jesus?) Our parishioners are creative and insightful people, we invite you to brainstorm and share the ways we can work to create an environment of welcome. Replies and input is welcome and desired.
