Join us on our annual Holy Thursday Pilgrimage of 7 Chicago churches. The tradition of visiting seven churches on Holy Thursday probably originated in Rome. Pilgrims would visit the seven basilicas and pray before the blessed sacrament in each. This tradition has been adopted all over the world, especially in urban areas where churches are in close proximity.

Because of the pandemic, this year’s church tour will be offered virtually via Zoom. The pilgrimage will be hosted by Jeremy Kiolbassa, Director of Music & Liturgy, and will feature historical and architectural commentary.

There is no fee to attend, however donations are appreciated. The suggested donation is $20 per person. All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the music program at St. Benedict Parish. Click here to donate.
