Confirmation at St. Benedict Parish

Please pray for our St. Benedict Parish School and RE students who will be making their Confirmation on Thursday, April 27th at 7PM in the Church. Bishop Kane, presiding. May the grace of God’s world, the guidance of His hand and the loving wisdom of His words fill their hearts and light their way.

Have you heard all the new & exciting updates this year to our evening of festivities? 

Our Balloon Drop and Heads & Tails Game are a couple of fun additions to help celebrate our 100th birthday, the Wine Pull is back by popular demand, and live music by The Local Group will round up the evening to keep us movin’ on the dance floor! Also, our surprise entertainment begins right at 7pm- if you are an art lover, you don’t want to miss out....

Tickets for the Gala are still on sale so reserve while they last! Over 42 tables have been sold and only 4 premium and 6 general seating tables remain. TUITION DRAW TICKET UPDATE: We are excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for the annual tuition draw and only a limited number of tickets will be sold! Enter for your chance to win a $5,000 voucher to be applied towards your child’s 2017-2018 St. Benedict Preparatory School tuition. Tickets are $50 each and only 200 will be sold. CLASS PROJECTS: Both one of kind and multi-sale projects are available this year.  From photobooks in Kindergarten to notecards from Religious Education to pajama pants in Secondary School.  Look for this year’s multi-sale items in our class project catalog being sent home in backpacks Preschool - Grade 8 and under a new Class Projects tab on our Mass and Gala website.

COMMEMORATIVE BOOK: In honor of the 100th birthday of the church, we are creating a commemorative yearbook to celebrate our parish and church. You will have the opportunity to provide your well wishes to St Benedict’s by purchasing an ad in the book. While also helping to support our parish fundraising goals, the Commemorative Book will be a cherished keepsake of this moment in time and will include the history of St. Benedict Parish, pictures, and snapshots of the 100th Anniversary Events. Teen Service Week - June 24th-July 1st
Week long immersion trip hosted at the Maria Kaupas Center at
Maria Catalyst High School open to high school students

Lord Have Mercy - June 26th -30th
St. Ben’s kids committed to serving the community for 5 days.                           
7th and 8th grade graduates welcome.

Notre Dame Vision - July 10th -14th      
Spend a week at the University of Notre Dame reflecting on your gifts and
how you will use them in the world. 8th grade graduates thru 12th grade.

Totus Tuus - July 17th -21st                             
Volunteer alongside missionary college aged Catholics sharing their faith
with our parish children. 6th-12th grade are welcome to serve.

Service Hour Opportunity

Our Children’s Liturgy of the Word Ministry is looking for helpers for our 9:00 am Mass and 10:30 a.m. Mass for 8th grade through High School.
